How do we book?
A - Because we’ve slightly different versions of our flexible booking procedure for each part of Europe, we suggest you visit our How To Book page to acclimatise yourself with the basics.
Will I be told which hotel I'm staying in before I book?
A - No. Whilst we will give you as much information as you need to know prior to booking (e.g. location, star rating and hotel facilities), because of the volume of people we deal with every weekend logistics dictate that we give out your specific hotel's name after your final group numbers are confirmed. As well as being practical when it comes to keeping every group in the same hotel as each other, we also don't wish to lose any of our long-established allocation to a booking made directly by a client.
Which activity centre will we be going to?
A - Once we've booked the hotel that is most suitable for your group, we will then look to our portfolio of local resources and reserve places at the best activity centre for you. Because we use more than one location in each city, we assess factors like distance and time before making the selection and informing you of the specifics... well before you travel.
How far will the hotel be from the centre of town?
A - With every passing year, we enjoy a wider range of quality central accommodation in each of our stag & hen destinations. Our promise is to give you as central a location as is possible based on the amount of notice you give us and your estimated group size. We have an excellent list of hotels in the very centre of each city, so rest assured that there will be no unpleasant surprises upon your arrival!
Can we all pay for this booking separately?
A - No, we’re afraid not. Logistically, paying separately is a nightmare and slows things down to a crawl. It is the responsibility of the group organiser to assemble all of the individual payments and funnel them through to us accordingly.
Can I book accommodation only with LNOF?
A - No. To keep LNOF's high standards of accommodation intact, we need to include at least one activity on every itinerary, though sometimes this can equate to airport transfers or nightclub tickets (ask for details). All of the best central stag & hen hotels prefer guests who've booked more than just the rooms, whilst our experience shows that the best stag or hen weekends are always those which include more than just alcohol and clubbing.
Can we book the activities-only with LNOF?
A - Yes. We will happily arrange whatever daytime and evening entertainment that you fancy if, for whatever reason, you don't need to book any accommodation with us. Please note, however, that a minimum spend figure may apply.
What if we only need the one night's hotel stay? Can we still book the weekend with you?
A - Though we'll try our best to find a good one night deal for your group, in many locations this is not possible – especially during the busier months of the year. The better hotels will always prefer a two-night weekend booking than just a one-nighter, so whilst it's rarely a problem if some of your group go for one night only, sourcing an entire group in this way can often prove difficult.
How far will the activity centre be from my hotel?
A - We will book the closest centre for your group and will always keep the flow of the stag or hen weekend in mind when we place this part of your itinerary. The majority of resources we use mean that the journey time is usually under 40 minutes from your hotel, though sometimes this just isn't possible. In this type of scenario we will inform you of the distance before any money has changed hands.
How will we get from our hotel to the various activity centres?
A - Transport is not included in the weekend price (UK), though you can ask us for a quote on this side of things and see how our prices compare. It is your responsibility to get to and from each activity site, though the fact we pick those nearest to your accommodation wherever possible makes this a lot easier. Can we pay for the booking on the day?
A - No. We enjoy healthy relationships with all the best activity centres and hotels, which means that we pay in advance of your group's arrival. To maintain the highest quality resources and customer satisfaction, we must keep it this way. In some European locations, the balance can be paid on the day of arrival, but our team will make these exceptions clear to you at the time of enquiry...
What happens if one of my group drop out from the time I book? Will we be charged for them?
A - We will try to be as flexible as possible so as to avoid this, though all cancellation charges will be made clear to you at the time of booking. Sometimes, inevitably, there will be a charge if someone drops out from your original party. For more detailed info please have a look at our terms and conditions or feel free to contact us.
Can you book the strippers for us?
A - In some locations we can provide strippers, though wherever we are unable to book one directly for you we will try to refer you to a reputable 3rd party who can.
Are you ATOL registered? Do you have an ABTA number?
A - As a sales agent booking on your behalf, all of our tour operator partners are reputable companies vetted by ourselves. Wherever it's applicable they do hold all necessary ABTA & ATOL registration.
Can you take last minute bookings?
A - We’ll always try to place a last minute request, naturally, though availability is often very limited so a degree of flexibility is encouraged when you approach us in this way. Bear in mind that most of our clients will book at least 2 months in advance of a UK weekend or 4 months in advance if the trip is to be abroad.
Where are you based?
A - Our offices are in Rothbury, Morpeth. Feel free to pop in if any of you are in the vicinity – perhaps fresh from a trip to Cragside or a visit to Morris the butcher's. We'll let you make us all a coffee before soundly thrashing you at table football. If you beat us (unlikely, but you never know) then we'll give you £50 off your weekend AND make you a coffee in return.
