2007 has seen a lot of change at Last Night of Freedom, we have relocated our offices, launched a new website and welcomed a few new faces to the line up, this is a look back at the major events over the past 12 months.
In early January every year Matt welcomes us all back from our Christmas holiday with a warm cup of cocoa before launching into the company song, just to wake us all up and get us back into work mode. This year was no different and it didn't take us long to get over our hangovers, burn off those extra calories and get back to doing what we do best, creating absolutely unforgetable stag weekends and hen nights for our clients.
The first major event of 2007 came in the form of the new website. Andy worked relentlessly on the site for months, however the vast amount of information on it in the form of photos, feedback, best man guides and more made it all worth while. With what is probably the best stag and hen website in the world launched, we moved onto breaking a few company records.
The bank holiday weekend at the end of May saw no fewer that 107 of our groups enjoying their own Last Night of Freedom on one weekend. More than 1400 people were on a Last Night of Freedom event at one time, making us accountable for an untold number of hangovers, unquantifiable amounts of kebab sales and a noticable surge in the demand for L plates, handcuffs and other stag and hen related novelty items. While this is currently a record weekend for us, we are certain we can smash this in 2008.
The biggest change of the year came in August when we relocated to our current office in Morpeth, Northumberland. After two years of operating from two small rooms in a building in Rothbury we decided it was time to start thinking big. The new offices already feel like home, more spacious and practicle than the old office.......they smell better too.
And in Ocotber we welcomed three new members of staff to the ranks at Last Night of Freedom. Jo and Katie joined the sales team, while Sue joined us as our accountant thus enhancing our already outstanding line up.
So as 2007 draws to a close and we warm up for our two Christmas parties (we organise parties for a living, of course the job has its perks) we can look back at our most succesful year to date and feel 100% confident that we are now a bigger, better company than we were 12 months ago with more locations, more products and more satisfied customers than ever, making it inevitable that 2008 will be even better.
