Wakeboarding is a high-octane, fast-paced alternative to water skiing. In simple terms, wakeboarding involves riding a wakeboard over the surface of a body of water, whilst clinging onto a track. It's a heady combination of skiing, snowboarding and surfing.
You and your group will have the finest instructors putting you through your paces, teaching you how to use your weight to keep the cable and harness taut, as well as tips on how to move your body for each turn and stay out of the water. There'll be plenty of space to practice your water skills on the 1000 metre cable ski track, and the wobblier ones in the group can try their hand at water skiing – you are still attached to the track, but riding the waves on skis rather than a board. And, wetsuits will also be provided if the water is a little nippy.
