Get ready for some vintage, firing gun activity. This activity will take you back in time to shoot actual weapons handled by Russian soldiers in the dark days of war. This epic activity takes place at an old bunker in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by woodland – it’s the real, wartime treatment.
You and your group will be shooting 25 bullets from a mixed arsenal of guns – including the K98 rifle and a calibre 6.5 Mauser rifle. The K98 was the standard rifle of the German army during World War ll, and is still used in conflicts today – with an incredible accuracy and effective range of up to 500 metres. The other gun you’ll be getting your hands on is a calibre 6.5 Mauser rifle – from the family of bolt-action rifles, this gun was in service from 1895 to 1995 and is now used as a retro form of weaponry. You’ll be firing at stationary targets and the experts will take you through it all before letting you loose in the range.
