Become kings and queens of cool, on your last night of freedom. The picturesque and historic arena you’ll be strutting your stuff on, was the first public ice skating rink in the whole of Budapest, and was opened in City Park on January 29th, 1870. The 1200 square metre skating area is surrounded by breath-taking architecture, including the Vajdahunyad castle – providing a stunning backdrop for those ice skating selfies.
You’ll have an English-speaking guide with you, as well as all the safety instruction and equipment provided – leaving you to work on figures of eight/toe loops/pirouetting axels/not falling flat on your back. To add to the crisp, seasonal atmosphere, you’ll each receive a mug of mulled wine, hot chocolate, tea or even beer – whisking you off into a familiar, comforting winter wonderland.
