If your best mate is partying in Germany for his last night of freedom, and is the type of bloke who loves his supercars – you can’t go wrong with letting him loose on the world-famous Nurburgring in a super speedy BMW M5.
The 150,000 capacity motorsports complex, Nurburgring, is located 62 miles out of Cologne – and features a Grand Prix race track built in 1984, and a considerably older North Loop track around the village and medieval castle. The North Loop is over 20 kilometres long, and has more than 300 metres of elevation change from its lowest to its highest points.
Your stag will be a co-pilot in a BMW M5, whizzing around the Nordschleife area of the track, known for its abundance of sharp crests, causing fast-moving, firmly sprung racing cars to jump clear of the track surface at many locations – which can reach top speeds of 155 mph. The 5 Series executive car has been produced since the mid-1980s until the present day, and boasts a 3.6-3.8 litre six-cylinder petrol engine, with five or six speed gearboxes. The lucky guy will have the ride of his life, around the epic track – and certainly won’t forget this in a hurry.
