Located in northern Munich, the Olympic Stadium was built as the main venue for the 1972 Summer Olympics. With an original capacity of 80,000, it has also played host to the 1974 World Cup Final and the Euro 1988 Final.
Built by Bilfinger Berger, between 1968 and 1972, the story behind the site is pretty unique – the massive stadium was built in a pit made by bombings which Munich had suffered during WWII.
This guided tour will have you and your mates on a two hour guided tour around the epic stadium, walking on the roof of the building and taking in the breath-taking views of the stunning city. Then, as if this wasn’t enough, you’ll take a leap of faith off the roof of the stadium, and glide down inside the ground to safety via a flying fox - a zipline for those not in the know. We’ll supply all the equipment and safety instruction, meaning all you’ll have to concentrate on is plucking up the courage to make that bold jump.
