Latvia may not be a land of mountains, but skiing is hugely popular in Riga once winter arrives. Temperatures can drop as low as -10 degrees, and the terrain is ideal for cross-country skiing and snowboarding.
There are several skiing locations around Riga (the pistes are not as high and long as the Alps, mind), but many of the fantastic hills have drag lift systems – perfect for beginners. You and your group will be skiing, or snowboarding, at one of the best places in Latvia – just one hour drive from the centre, so we'll sort out your return transfers.
This epic activity includes your ski pass, skis or snowboard, as well as boot hire. You can even hire ski pants and jackets for the whole nine yards at an extra cost, or you can wrap up warm in preparation for getting on the piste with this action-packed adventure.
