Ice curling is, practically, brand-spanking new to Estonia. Twelve years ago, this city didn't even have a dedicated ice curling rink (can you imagine?), but has now hosted the World Curling Federation Cup and is a dab hand at the sport. This is your chance to shine and practice for a career in the winter Olympics.
For those who may not know the rules, ice curling involves sliding granite 'stones' on ice at four concentric circles. The aim of the game is thus: you must hit as close to the centre stone as possible to win and walk home with the 'championship'. You and your group will be split into opposing teams and will compete for the curling title. You'll get an on-ice practice session with an expert and they will go into detail on the tips and tricks, such as sliding the stone and sweeping the ice. This tournament will separate the men from the boys – bring your A-game, gents.
