The Temple Bar

You don’t have to love the Guinness to appreciate Dublin!

The gorgeous Irish capital is diverse, vibrant and utterly beguiling. Much of Dublin’s city centre has been redeveloped over the years; however, when you walk through the bustling centre you can still find the city’s swanky bars and madcap nightclubs alongside major cultural attractions.

The lively streets of the legendary Temple Bar drinking district - interspersed with rip-roaring pubs, upmarket bars, trendy hotels and overlooked by the historic Dublin castle - are widely regarded as the city’s central hub for both carousing and culture. Temple Bar, home to the iconic Temple Bar pub and Dublin’s only art-house cinema, is the place to see and be seen in, with Dublin’s finest heading over to experience the districts famous non-stop party atmosphere. Dublin’s lovely Italian Quarter is a wonderful place to start the hen weekend celebrations before heading to the notorious Temple Bar. You can enjoy the simple sophistication of a glass of wine and a delicious meal in one of the fabulous open-air restaurants, and then dance the night away with your best friends in one of the city’s most stylish clubs.

This cosmopolitan city’s shopping districts are like no other in Europe. Grafton Street, one of the two principal shopping streets in the city, lures thousands of visitors in each day with its wealth of quaint boutiques, mainstream stores and world-famous Bewley’s Oriental Café – a Dublin landmark and Ireland’s oldest and largest cafe. This lively street is noted especially for its excellent buskers, who range from string quartets to street poets, and add to the vibrant atmosphere of Dublin’s city centre.

Of course, a visit to the birthplace of Guinness wouldn’t be complete without a trip to St James’s Gate Brewery. Originally founded in 1759, this brewery is the home of the famous (and absolutely delicious) stout, which has gone on to become one of the most successful beer brands worldwide. You can take an in-depth tour of the fascinating brewery and, afterwards, you can relax with a drink in the celebrated Gravity Bar. The views from this top floor, glass walled, circle bar of Dublin city centre and the countryside are simply stunning – the perfect way to spend an afternoon with the girls before partying until the early hours.

Dublin is a city filled with charm, where the locals are friendly and the bars are lively. ‘The Fair City’ will seduce you and leave you with superb memories of your hen weekend in the party capital.

“Fantastic weekend and the activities we booked were amazing!

Awesome weekend! Dublins the best place for a crazy vibrant night and LNOF were spot on, taking all the stress out of organising a large group. ”

13 happy girls from Glasgow! Would use again if required. ”

We had an absolutely great time in Dublin! The hotel we stayed in was perfect for a hen do. It was great how there was 5 & 4 people to a room. We had a dance class which was great fun. Even though the previous class was running 10 minutes late, lnof rang me to let me know which I thought was very efficient. Our dance teacher was fantastic and the cocktail making was fab! All in all , we all had a fantastic time. So much so I might pretend that I have to go on a hen weekend again simply to use this company. I couldn't rate it highly enough. All of the staff I have been in contact with have been so helpful & everyone we met in Dublin through them were just brilliant. Thanks so much.”

Very well organised. Pedi bike tour was enjoyed by all. Meal was great value for money. Location of activities was excellent. Dublin suitable for hens of all ages.

Our accommodation was lovely and check-out wasn't until 12pm which was an even bigger bonus and the cocktail masterclass was fantastic! I highly recommend using this company! 5*

“I cannot thank the staff at LNOF enough, from start to finish they helped us every step of the way. They made it all so simple and we had the BEST time!!!

Cheerleading teacher was fab, such a good laugh and brill at what she does.

“Service of Last Night of Freedom staff was excellent during the planning of this hen party. There was a slight issue in the restaurant we went to for food but it didnt ruin our night. Dublin is a great spot and I would recommend using LNOF to ease the stress of planning.

Had a brilliant weekend, would definitely go back again for another weekend!! Activities were brilliant although needed alot more energy than I realised. ”

Excellent hen weekend, couldn't have done it without this company. They organised everything for me and told me where I needed to be at what time! - Pedi bus is a must!! Such a great laugh!”

Great weekend. Our segway experience was super and the instructor John was great, as was Daraeu our Irish dancing teacher. Many Thanks.”

“We had a great weekend. Unfortunately (or fortunately) some would now say my waters broke just after the cocktail making class. I ended up in the National Maternity Hospital in Dublin where I transferred back to Manchester on Monday and had baby Charlie yesterday morning by c section as he was 5.5 weeks early. The hotel where we had the cocktail making class were fab and looked after me until the ambulance arrived so it was a happy ending x”

“Group of 12 went on the traditional Irish night and we would definitely recommend if you are going to Dublin. The pedi bike tour took us to some great pubs, loved my weekend!

“I organised my hen party to do the pedi bike tour and it was amazing. I would definitely do it again, the gentleman who took us (can’t remember his name) was brilliant and made it very enjoyable. The one thing that we did struggle to do is find the venue, they could do with a sign outside we only found it by luck. But I give them 10 out of 10 the hen loved it!!!

“Had the most amazing weekend in Dublin. All the staff in the hotel were so friendly and helpful. Made the brides weekend very memorable. Will be visiting again.”

“Greg was a legend and we loved the bus! Defo come back!”

Hen weekend in Dublin was excellent! We had a trip a day going to the jail, the zoo and water rafting. The rafting was perfect for us girls and they even took our photos so we have brilliant images too! We stayed at the Generator which is a brilliant hostel and a short walk to town. ”

“Everything was amazing.”

“We booked a recording studio through Last Night of Freedom and it couldn't have been easier. We all had a fantastic time. I would thoroughly recommend them.

“Fantastic weekend in Dublin, Last Night of Freedom were fantastic!”

“Favourite part of the weekend was the Pole Dancing class... was a bit concerned at first as the bar couldn't locate the poles which meant we lost 30 mins of our class. Once we got started though ,it was brilliant. The teacher was really friendly and showed us some fun moves to do on the pole! We raved about the class for the rest of the day!”

“I would recommend a Dublin weekend for any hen party. Last Night of Freedom was very helpful in organising our activity for the day, the dirty dancing activity we did was good fun and everyone enjoyed themselves. Highly recommended.

“Our experience of Last night of Freedom for our hen-do in Dublin was excellent. The recording studio activity was a great ice breaker and really good laugh and the mexican meal that we enjoyed was in an excellent location, just a couple of minutes walk from Temple Bar. ”

Dublin is a great place and we all really enjoyed ourselves, the accomadation and activity were great. hostel was cheap but clean and friendly and the activity (recording studio) was hilarious and the guys who run were great.”

“We had a most fantastic time in the recording Studios with their very own John Lennon look alike Gareth! We had full use of the Green Room, enough champagne included and then recorded 3 tracks. It was an awesome experience and we would definitely recommend it to friends.”

12 girls headed away to Dublin and we had a fantastic weekend! Drink is quite expensive so we brought a full suitcase and partied in our hotel room before the meal and after the meal before hitting the club! The meal was fantastic and the staff looked after us really well.

Found the guys at LNOF very helpful and efficient and would definitely recommend them to anyone else thinking of arranging a hen or stag weekend! It wasn't tacky it was good fun!”

Dublin was great, the nightlife was better than expected and the city tour is a must.”

“I went to dublin on my hen wkend I could'nt have asked for a better hotel or better location, I go to dublin quite alot and have nevr actually stayed at the accomadation that Last Nite of Freedom found for us.

My henettes had a fantastic time and alot of them had never been to dublin before and have guranteed to back again. Me and all of my hen party have decided we will go back to the same hotel again next year because we had such a gud time so thanks Last Nite of Freedom xoxox ”

A fab weekend was had by all Hens. I would really recommend Dublin for culture and nightlife!!”

A great weekend with good, fun lively nightlife and friendly locals - The nightclub was excellent!”

What an amazing weekend! Well worth it! ”

We had a brilliant weekend and would definitely recommend the venue (Dublin) and the activities (Nightclubs and pole dancing lessons) to other hen and stag weekends. Although we did prefer the friday night nightclub to the one on the saturday.”

All the girls had a great time in Dublin. The night life in Dublin (i.e. Temple Bar)does live up to its name. The place was buzzing.

My only issue is the club we went too was a bit far from Temple Bar and was hard to find initially. The comedy club was good but the disco afterwards was a little disappointing as most people left the venue onto Temple Bar after the show. Our meal was great.

We didn't book a day activity during Saturday, but wished we had as when we got there....everything was booked but we did manage to do a river cruise on the liffey. Overall an execellent weekend. Thanks. Wai Mai”

We had a fantastic time in Dublin - everything ran very smoothly and we had so much fun at the Salsa class. None of us wanted to go back home.

I would definitely recommend using Last Night of Freedom as it does take the pressure off a little particularly when there of 15 ladies to organise! ”

A great weekend was had by all. LNOF where very useful for suggesting events and for tips for the night. The club was exactly what was needed! However I thought the restaurant was a bit down market and the food was very average. Dublin is a fantastic location and the people are very friendly. ”

The meal was excellent! The restaurant was very nice and staff were extreamly friendly. Even the taxi driver told us how good it was. The food was superb and surpassed everybodies expectations.

The comedy club was only a short walk and all acts were very good. You needed a few drinks for the earlier acts but the headline act was fantastic. Very popular for hen do's there were 3.

Transport in and out of the city is brilliant and most of it is brand new. The night link bus took us home at 3 am and the trams run until 12:30.”

We all had a fantastic time in Dublin, the salsa dancing and comedy club were great fun and really got the party atmosphere going. We were a little worried about the hotel having a night club so close but it ended up being great as everyone could slope off to bed whenever they wanted!”

“Excellent venue so close to the center of Dublin. Would definalty reccomend it.

Dublin has a fantastic night life with everything you need on your doorstep in Temple Bar. The locals are welcoming and chatty. Perfect venue for a stag or hen do, can't wait to go back again!

We could not have asked for a better location for the hen do. Friendly and lively a great time was had by all. Pole dancing was a fantastic daytime activity and quickly cured all of our hangovers!”

Dublin is a really good place for a Hen/Stag night location as it offers plenty of variety and opportunity to do different things, depending upon the type of weekend you are going for... 48 hours of drinking or taking in some sites and shopping. Dublin is VERY expensive for the night life and in particular buying a round of drinks, one round in the club cost 50 Euros for 6 drinks!”

I had an absolutly excellent time. Dublin is a great place for a hen party. The hotel was brill everyone was so friendly!!! I couldnt have done it without Last Night of Freedom they were fantastic they organised everything and made it so easy thanx for everything i give them 10 out of 10 for everything. love chrissyxxx”

“last night of freedom took all the hassle out of organising my hen do. they made it a memorable weekend. thank you”

“We had an amazing weekend and loved the health spa! Staff were very friendly and even though there was confusion in us attending the swimming facilities your staff rang and checked we were ok! I would definitely use your services again. Thank you.”
