For the Tyne of your life
If you want a venue that’s bursting with history, character, good food, cheerful noise and colour, look no further than Tyneside, a hen weekend in Newcastle has been the favourite of so many groups from across the UK over the years. Its legendary Quayside area alone - now complete with the giant futuristic cashew-nut that is the Sage building and stunning "Blinking Eye" that is the Millennium Bridge – is impressive enough by day, but by night becomes a swirling hive of movement and music that will sweep you off your feet… and not just because of the infamously lethal shooters and cocktails either.
The passions here are those closest to all our hearts: namely, food, drink, music and clothes. As long as you know that, you won’t go far wrong. The people here are warm and vivacious, as you’ll realise when you’re out and about, mingling with the stream of happy revellers who are utterly determined to squeeze every last drop from their habitually large weekends. If you’re choosing Newcastle, prepare for folk living as life should be lived – unashamed, unassuming and, invariably, under the table.

Newcastle Information
Geordie hospitality is legendary the world over, but the city’s growing cosmopolitan streak means that all types of food, entertainment and musical tastes are catered for too. They’ve certainly come a long way since the days when the locals’ idea of sophistication was to put tomato sauce on their chips! It’s a city that embraces you but also leaves you free to join the party whenever you feel ready to – not that you’ll need much persuading, we’re sure of that.
Food, comedy, live music and nightclubbing are all deliciously taken care of in this compact and personable location, where the collection of pubs and bars flow with merry lads and lasses ‘til the early hours on a Friday and Saturday night, and where the quota of Italians, Szechaun and Indians (to name but 3) along the Quayside especially makes it ideal fodder for a bit of hen group bonding over a tasty, well-priced meal. Remember what your mother told you about eating properly before you assault your liver? Well, she might well have had a Newcastle hen weekend in mind when she said it! Hen weekends were meant to be like this.
