Travelling to Blackpool

Blackpool is one of the North-West’s most popular seaside towns. You can get there by road, rail, air and – to Fleetwood from Belfast – ferry. It’s always a busy resort in the summer, so plan ahead if it’s during these months.

It takes you 3hrs by train from London to Blackpool and 3hrs 10mins from both Glasgow or Edinburgh.
The main motorway to Blackpool is the M6. This can sometimes suffer delays.

You may prefer to use the ferry service to get to Fleetwood nearby. You can use this from Stranraer in Scotland, Larne or Belfast in Northern Ireland, and Dublin in Ireland.
