Bournemouth is in the county of Dorset on the south coast of the UK. It is reached by rail, road and air, though because of the distance involved you need to allow for long journeys if you’re going by road from either the North or Scotland.

It takes 1hr 45mins by train from London, 3hrs 10mins from Birmingham and 7hrs 20mins from Edinburgh.
If you’re going by road, take the M3 out of London or the M40/A34 from Birmingham.
