Deep in the South-West of Ireland lies Cork, the Republic’s second largest city and home to the River Lee. If you’re travelling within mainland Ireland, or if you’re going from the North, there are plenty of road and rail connections to get you there, whilst Cork Airport has a large number of flights from all over the UK & Ireland.

By rail, it takes around 7hrs from Belfast (2 changes), 2hrs 40mins from Dublin, 5hrs 30mins from Galway (1 change) and 3hrs 40mins from Waterford (1 change).
The major roads that service Cork are the N22 (Killarney), N20 (Limerick), N8 (Kilkenny/Dublin) and the N25 (Waterford).
By air, Cork (ORK) is linked to most of the major airports throughout the rest of the UK as well as some of the minor ones.
