By train, 4hrs 20mins is the journey time from London, 3hrs 30mins from Manchester (with 1 change) and 4hrs 30mins from Birmingham.
By road, you can get to Edinburgh from either the M1 to A1 up the East coast, or the M6 to M74 to A702 if you’re going there from the West.
Edinburgh International Airport, (EDI), is linked to just about every city across the UK & Ireland, with plenty of scheduled flights by the hour.
