Sitting right in the middle of England is Nottingham, the famous and hugely popular East Midlands city. It is connected by rail, road and air. Part of its colossal appeal to both stags and hens is its agreeably central situation.

By train from London it takes 1hr 45mins, from Birmingham it’s 1hr 20mins, from Manchester it’s 1hr 50mins and from Edinburgh the journey time is 4hrs 45mins (with 1 change).
By road, take the M1 - unless you’re coming from the West side of the M6, in which case you need to use the A52 off the M6 at Stoke-on-Trent. If you’re heading from the M5, get to the M1 via the M42 near Birmingham.
