Hen's Guide to South-East

The South East of London is a party paradise for some of the city’s most affluent. With around one and a half million wealthy inhabitants, and over 14,000,000 square feet of retail and office space – this is where they really let their hair down after a hard day’s work. The South East can be broken up into distinctive areas, Canary Wharf, Greenwich, Docklands and the iconic 02 arena – formally known as the Millennium Dome. Prepare yourselves for a truly sophisticated celebration, amidst some of the wealthiest folk in the entire capital.

Greenwich

Glorious Greenwich is seriously plush. This gorgeous spot is a real green belt, and a perfect location to take a break from the hustle and bustle of central city life (and treat yourselves to a celebratory cocktail in the South East). On the banks of the Thames, just a two minute walk from the North Greenwich Tube Station, lies the famous 02 arena. Within the arena, the ultra-modern, urban-chic All Bar One is a superb location to chill out with the girls. The relaxed, luxurious bar and restaurant isn’t the most reasonably priced of spots, but is certainly worth paying that little bit extra for. Well, when in The 02…

Inc Bar, another fabulous haunt in trendy Greenwich, is a cut above the rest. Designed by none other than Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen himself, Inc Bar’s interiors are a melee of charismatic floral patterns, colourful lighting and chic furniture. Prepare to immerse yourself in flamboyant cocktails, live DJs and South East London culture.

Canary Wharf

The world renowned Canary Wharf is a densely industrial area, overflowing with office and retail space, as well as wonderful watering holes to grab yourselves an afternoon cocktail or two before heading out into the Big Smoke. If you and the girls like your cocktails with a side of panoramic splendour, The Attic at Pan Peninsula is certainly worth a visit. Sip your tipple amidst some of the capital’s most chic individuals - to a fabulous 360 degree backdrop of London. The Attic is an indulgent champagne and cocktail bar on the 48th floor of the Pan Peninsula, with a gorgeous black granite centrepiece bar. As can be expected, this one won’t be kind on the hen party kitty – but is more than worth it for the breathtaking views you will be spoilt with.
