Us Geordies love this time of year, as September can only mean one thing; The Great North Run. We see thousands of runners of all ages, abilities, shapes and sizes, line the streets of Newcastle Upon Tyne to tackle the world’s biggest half marathon.

In recent years, the 13.1 mile course from Newcastle upon Tyne to South Shields has seen Mo Farah, Paula Radcliffe and Haile Gebrselassie to name but a few, cross the finish line.
This year, our LNOF boys Andrew and Garry are taking on the challenge, putting themselves through their paces for CHUF, our wonderful local charity.
CHUF is a fantastic charity based at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, who carry out some incredible, life changing work helping children who are born with, or who develop life threatening heart conditions to achieve their dreams.
We’ll be supporting them all the way - haway lads!
