The costume just slips on over the head and can be worn over normal clothes. It is, however, up to you whether you want to give him the option of taking itoff.

This was perfect for what I required, which was an outfit suitable for skiing in all day. I could see why some people would be disappointed with the lack of stuffing in the top and bottom though
