It’s no coincidence that these beasts are so popular with stags and hens alike. They demand concentration and effort but they reward you with a dirty, wild and exciting run! Growling through a rural terrain on a Quad bike is outstandingly good fun, and the fact they are virtually indestructible only enhances the pleasure. Are you a Quad God?

Quad biking in York involves 200cc Quads battling with a challenging mud and grass course. The circuit is not really about speed, more about all round ability with a tricky slalom section. All abilities are welcome as expert training is available on the day.

If you’ve always fancied yourself as a bit of a Robin Hood, forget the tights and get the boys enrolled in a spot of professionally tutored archery. We can’t offer any swooning Princesses for the winner, but we do promise you a good laugh and bragging rights for whichever deadeye dicks hit bullseye. A pint of Strongbow for the winner, perhaps?

Clay Pigeon Shooting

Impress your friends by picking up a gun and blasting those clay critters from the sky. Competitive weaponry at its most civilised in a hugely popular stag activity. If a spot of clay pigeon shooting doesn’t blow away the cobwebs from the night before - whilst giving the boys plenty to talk about – you’re not doing it right. No Jodhpurs required.

Clay pigeon shooting in York is held on excellent purpose built ranges just outside of the city. The session begins with a few practice shots before the competition begins, clays are fired from different positions to simulate real prey.
