Place of Birth?
Riga.
Star Sign?
Virgo.
How long have you been a rep for us?
Since May 2006.
What are you studying?
Economics and Business.
Likes?
Sport is my passion, especially jogging (in May I competed in the Riga International half-marathon), swimming and hiking. I also dream about travelling day and night. I have visited more than 30 countries and my preferred way to travel is hitch-hiking. I have hitch-hiked all round Europe, plus western Russia and a bit of east Canada.
Dislikes?
The only thing I dislike is dishonesty. I also hate to be in a hurry as I try to enjoy every minute of life.
Your proudest moment?
Second prize in the State Scientific Papers Conference, First prize in Riga district Geography Olympiad, Fourth prize in Latvian Piano Duet Competition… also Second prize in Latvian Open Cliff Climbing Competition and Third place in Toronto Nike 10k run.
Favourite film?
The City of Angels. I like military movies, especially movies about the second world war.
Favourite music?
Classical mostly but also I can’t imagine my day without Coldplay, U2, Vaya, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Moby, Madonna.
Favourite drink?
Apart from wine during massages or while having a Spa, I don’t use alcohol. I am always the one who ends up dancing on tables anyway so never seemed to need it!
Place you'd love to visit?
Chile, Middle East and South East Africa. Places where you can’t have burgers and no-one has heard of Madonna… those grab my interest the most. Nepal is the place I would love to have my wedding…
Place you have visited?
Amsterdam (museums), Quebec City (cafes), Zurich (tidiness), Seville (hot temperature), York (architecture).
Favourite stag activity?
Dancing! Luckily, the job provides me with some good dancing partners whenever I go to nightclubs…
Favourite thing about Riga?
Apart from the nightlife (clubs open until 8am at the weekend), I love the variety of musical concerts and festivals (from open festivals to jazz), and, of course, parks. The Central park is just gorgeous with a lovely canal.
Favourite part of the job?
The feeling of being useful. Making someone’s life better – at least for the weekend – gives you such a light feeling inside. I try to help each group create unique memories and achieving this is the greatest feeling.
Funniest stag weekend memory?
Once a security guard of a prestigious Riga nightclub stopped my group and I getting in, so I entered with each group member separately – one at a time – pretending to be a local couple by giving each other adoring looks until we were inside… Pretty soon we were all in the club dancing and the group were very pleased with me.
