Old town in Gdansk at dusk

There’s a classy new city fast approaching on the stag radar, and its name is Gdansk.

“Poland’s Riviera” is a swaggeringly cool collection of gingerbread boozers and relentless club action by night… mixed with bikinis, boats and breathtaking beaches by day. Yes, that’s right - Gdansk displays not only the proven formula of picturesque market square, pretty eastern European ladies and uninhibited party attitude, but adds to it a stylish resort-feel with the presence of a glorious, head-spinning bay, crammed with weekenders out to make a huge splash and determined to spend their days in more imaginative ways than simply sat in a bar getting legless.

Locations as good as this don’t grow on trees (that would be silly), and certainly the Poles have done their best to keep Gdansk all to themselves up to now. However, with its reputation for stag weekends gathering momentum as each band of happy converts return home hypnotised by its magic, the cat is now very firmly out of the bag, and highly unlikely ever to return. What makes Gdansk stag weekends unlike any other is the knowledge that there is nowhere else quite like it, and when you’re there you feel as if cut off from the rest of the planet - with only 50,000 girls, 300 pubs and a rather spectacular coastline for company…

Though it’s far from the cheapest city in eastern Europe, a stag weekend in Gdansk is still less damaging to your wallet – and a hell of a lot more special – than a night out in your local town centre. Famed for its watersports, its beauty and its nightlife, this vitally important part of Poland’s historical, commercial and political past offers the discerning stag group so much more than nasty spirits and lap dances… though it has both of those too before you start to worry! Far from a package holiday haven, Gdansk is light on hotels volume-wise, but amply delivers from a quality and location point of view. Naturally, Last Night of Freedom have the very best to offer in this department, as we also do when it comes to dynamic local female guides, restaurant resources, cultural contacts and organised activity suppliers.

Put simply, Gdansk boasts the best of both worlds – scintillating beach life, with endless stretches of bronzed beauties, banana rings and motor boats, and exhilarating, no-holds-barred nightlife, where divine watering holes (with their potent poisons and perfectly formed female clientele) throb with activity, chat and charm. If you’re so much as contemplating walking in the sand, contact us first and tailor yourselves a surefire winner!

“We had a great weekend in Gdansk, Poland. We didn't see any other stag groups there (which was nice) but it was a perfect stag venue: cheap drinks, beautiful town, things to do.

Last Night of Freedom's service had been good leading up to the stag. We had only booked 3 activities: Go-karting was fine; the nightclub entry was fine; however, the strip club was terrible

Apart from that it was a successful weekend.”

Good weekend, girls good looking but need to go to the clubs rather than any bars for the nightlife”

Fantastic weekend in a fantastic city, everyone enjoyed themselves with the nightlife, food and drink top class and cheap!!! Accomadation was spot on. The rep was excellent, even taking us to the casino at 2am in the morning. ”
