Travelling to Blackpool

Blackpool is a seaside town in the north-west of the UK. It is reachable by road, rail, air and – to nearby Fleetwood from Belfast – ferry. It is an extremely busy resort, especially in the summer months.

By train, it takes 3hrs from London and 3hrs 10mins from either Glasgow or Edinburgh.
The main road that leads to Blackpool is the M6.
Blackpool International Airport (BLK) handles flights to and from Ireland, mainland Europe and the UK, including Belfast, Dublin and London Stansted.
You can use the ferry service to get to nearby Fleetwood from locations like Stranraer in Scotland, Larne or Belfast in Northern Ireland, and Dublin in Ireland.
