Bournemouth is on the south coast of the UK in the county of Dorset. It is reachable by rail, road and air, though you need to allow for lengthy journeys if you’re travelling by road from the North or Scotland of course.

By train, it takes 1hr 45mins from London, 3hrs 10mins from Birmingham and 7hrs 20mins from Edinburgh!
To get you to the south coast by road, take the M3 once you come out of London or the M40/A34 if you’re travelling down from Birmingham.
