Manchester is one of the UK’s largest and busiest cities, in the North-West of England and linked by road, rail and air to every major destination in the rest of the UK and Ireland.

By rail, it takes 2hrs 15mins from London to get there, 3hrs 30mins from Edinburgh (with 1 change), 3hrs 15mins from Cardiff and 1hr 30mins from Birmingham.
By road, take the M62 or the M6 to get to Manchester. The M62 is joined by the A1 (North) and the M1 (South) from the East side of the country, whilst the M6 runs both North and South of Lancashire on the UK’s West side.
Manchester International Airport (MAN) handles a huge amount of national and international air traffic.
