  • If you’re driving to Oxford, you need to take the A40/M40 from London, the M40 from Birmingham, the M4 to A34 from Bristol and the M1 to A43 to M40 if you’re heading by road from the East of the UK.
  • For those intending to fly, London Heathrow (LHR) offers both a quicker rail link to Oxford and more scheduled UK and Ireland flights to choose from than Luton (LTN). It takes only 1hr 30mins from Heathrow(LHR, though this still involves one change.
