Experience the beguiling era of fame, fortune and vice at this dazzling bar. The Fitzgerald is straight from the pages of The Great Gatsby – it's a speakeasy, Prohibition-style bar that takes a whirlwind journey into the past.
The door to the quirky spot is just as mysterious as the interior, hidden behind a secret entrance on Little Lever Street - in the heart of Manchester's bustling Northern Quarter. As you pass through the velvet rope and up the staircase, following the grand chandeliers and faint Jazz music, you'll walk into the atmospheric drinking den. The dimly-lit, gorgeous venue has the dark, illicit and back-room aura the decade was famed for. There are heavy purple curtains, crushed velvet furniture, nude flappers on the wall and dark wooden flooring. The delicious drinks are served in 1920s vintage cut glassware, and are renowned as 'cocktails for distinguished ladies and gentlemen'. And, with beverages such as Daisy's Desire and French Martinilla – you would expect nothing less. This place will play into your carefree and mischievous self – perfect for your last night of freedom.
