This one is for the foodies. This culinary adventure begins in the Central Market Hall, the mecca of all things food and Budapest's largest, and oldest, indoor market. Serving everything; from chicken feet and gizzards, to livers and mangalica steak – there's no better place to sample Hungarian cuisine. You'll even touch on the history of the gorgeous building, as well as sample a cold cut platter (this is what we are really here for) at one of the butchers.
You'll also explore the neighbourhoods surrounding the Market Hall, getting a taste of local fish at a seafood restaurant, before getting to grips with handmade chocolate bon-bons at a local chocolatiers. We'll even include a complimentary 'froccs' (wine spritzers) for that authentic experience.
The tour will take you and your group to the Jewish district to get a taste of the famous Hungarian-Jewish cuisine, finishing in a restaurant with traditional 'gulyas' soup and strudel near the iconic St. Stephen's Basilica.
