Get out and about in the historic, 17th century Kilruddery Estate.
This major tourist attraction boasts 1300 acres of land, overlooking Dublin Bay, Dalkey Island and Ireland's eye – and it's your job to splatter it with neon coloured paint pellets.
This centre, located just outside of the city of Dublin, has everything you could possibly need for a cracking paintballing sesh. There are a number of themed battle zones for a truly authentic experience. From the mighty Black Hawk Down – it's your job to rescue a pilot from the downed helicopter in the jungle – to the Castle Wallenberg and Command Post, the Jungle Attack, Speedball Arena and Viet Cong Village – you've got to attempt to recover the village, overrun with hostile Vietcong.
The centre also features some unique photo opportunities, with a collection of props from film sets all over Ireland including, get this, the giant wooden gallows from Braveheart, impressive stone archways and a 30 foot stone cross. Sounds like the ideal place for your last night of FREEEEDOOOMM… (geddit?).
