Nestled on the edge of Bruntsfield Links, it's the oldest and finest restaurant and bar in the country (she's not looking a day older than 21...). It's all decked out in olde-worlde, eclectic booths, antiques on the wall and velvet cushions – and they stock the best, handpicked malt whisky, along with beer from the city's independent brewers.
We'll sort out your reserved tables and main meal of a burger or fish and chips, along with two beers each. But, as this is the oldest pub – you've got to do something special. Luckily for you, we've sorted out a game of golf on the world's oldest short-hole course (yes, really). There are 36 holes to conquer and, at least, attempt par after a wee dram, and all of your equipment is included. You've got your own lush greenery, right in the centre of the busy city, and it's a seriously spectacular hangover cure. All together now, "FREEEDOMMMMMM" (just us…).
