Experience spectacular views of Munich from the top of the Olympiastadion. The Olympic Stadium was built for the 1972 Summer Olympics, and it has stood the test of time as a massive tourist attraction in the city.
The stadium had an original capacity of 80,000 – it's current capacity is 69,250 – and has hosted a huge number of football matches. This was the host of the 1974 World Cup Final, and the European Cup finals in 1979, 1993 and 1997. And, it was once the home of Germany’s most successful football team, Bayern Munich, as well as TSV 1860 Munich.
You and your group will get a guided tour of the arena – you can walk in the footsteps of some of your sporting heroes – and you'll even walk the roof of the stadium. This will give you a whole new perspective on the word height, and you'll get all of your safety equipment as well as a briefing. You'll enjoy views over Munich’s skyline and, if you do the walk in good weather, you can see as far as the Bavarian Alps.
