Despite its freezing cold weather, Reykjavik is one of the hottest places to celebrate.
The nightlife, or 'jammith', is located in and around the main shopping street, Laugavegur, and each bar is within a 10 second walk of one another.
You and your group will go around the top spots with an English-speaking guide, one that knows the place like the back of their hand and likes a drink as much as the next person. You'll start in one of the best cocktail lounges in the city, sipping on traditional Icelandic cocktails, before moving on to one of the most popular bars to enjoy the famous and 'off-menu' Coco Puffs cocktail… You'll also visit an authentic Viking bar and attempt to blend into the locals whilst sampling 'Brennivin' schnapps – Iceland’s national beverage, affectionately thought of as 'Black Death', and boasting an alcohol proof of around 80% - and snacking on fermented fish.
Once you’ve experience that Viking feeling, you'll stop at Bill Clinton’s favourite restaurant, the famous hot dog stand, and move onto the nightclub with a stomach fully lined.
