LNOF Guide to Palma
Sophistication shouldn't mean letting the kids have all the fun, should it?.
This endlessly-fascinating holiday island is gorgeously traditional and sun-kissed. This is the real Spain, with endless golden beaches and magnificent scenery alongside old churches, as well as the kind of shopping options that will seriously hurt your flexible friends. And, there are the restaurants, cafes, markets, museums, salsa and flamenco options… not to mention the sensational choices on offer through the day in the way of organised tours, events and activities - on both land and water. Put simply, you bring the girls and you’ll never look back.
There's a sense that you're mingling with real Spanish people on a hen weekend in Palma - a genuine friendliness and respect emanating from them when recognising that you are here to get to grips with the traditions. As a result, you can shop, eat, sail, snorkel, drink and cavort about until the sun is firmly in the ascendency… rising late to fully recuperate on the beach next morning.

My friend's hen party was in Palma in August. We went on the catamaran cruise which I'd 100% recommend. It was absolutely boiling, we all came back with such good tans.

You can expect to have your tongue out half the time you're in Majorca - that much is certain… Most of that will be down to the marvellous shopping opportunities that exist in Palma itself, drawing you in with great offers on top labels. In fact, we defy you not to nab something special for the wedding, whilst ambling about through the day. The other drooling will be down to the odd gentleman or two who pass by on the beaches at Palma Nova - all sublime muscle tissue and effortlessly cool demeanour – or perhaps to those majestic hips on display at the salsa club you find yourself dancing in. Hey, there's nothing wrong with looking at the sights when you're on a Palma hen weekend, is there…?
You can expect beautiful, little restaurants (as recommended by ourselves, naturally), some of the best photo spots in Europe (a church here, a mountain there), terrific dancing, great beaches (Palma Nova) and wonderful water-based activities (again, at Palma Nova). Expect a unique hybrid of package holiday Spain (Magaluf, if you go there), beach heaven (Palma Nova) and classy, unbridled, sophisticated Spain (Palma). You get those flights sorted sharpish and we'll prepare your accommodation pronto.
