    The Strip

    Starting with the obvious The Strip, found in the Montechoro area of town, is a haven for stags. This loud and proud nightlife district, that could be mistaken for a small version of Vegas, is packed with neon signs and hordes of party goers. Here you will find a fab mix of karaoke bars, Irish bars, sports bars and more… there’s even a Yorkshire Tavern if you just can’t resist grabbing yourself a Yorkshire pudding (understandable). Basically, this is one spot you cannot miss.

    Albufeira Boat Party

    You don’t want to do all your partying on land, when partying on the waves is just so much fun. The Albufeira Boat Party is another (in our opinion) must do! This will see you hitting the Atlantic on a public party boat cruise, which is the perfect way to make new pals for the night. Even better, there is a DJ onboard and 2 hours of drinks included. This Saturday afternoon activity, that boasts stunning views and a buzzing atmosphere, is the perfect warm-up for hitting the strip later.

    Golf

    The Algarve is known for Golf, so if your group are partial to a game, this is a quali-tee activity to get on the list. You will head to a lush, green golf course where you will play two rounds of golf on a nine-hole golf course. There’s nothing like competing with your mates on a picturesque golf course, whilst enjoying the Algarve’s glorious sunshine. This is sure to get you into the ‘swing’ of the weekend….

    Hit the Beach

    Hitting the beach is the perfect way to relax and unwind after a night on the strip. The most convenient beach (within walking distance of The Strip) is Praia da Oura which offers golden sands, sun lounger hire, several bars and watersports like jet skiing and parasailing. There’s also Praia dos Pescadores, which is a bit further out, but also a lovely spot.

    Outdoor Go Karting

    Outdoor Go Karting is another top choice for stags in the Algarve. You can satisfy your need for speed by tearing your way around an exciting go karting track tackling thrilling corners and electrifying straights. It’s perfect for groups who want to inject some adrenaline into the weekend whilst still making the most of the Algarve’s weather.

    Aquashow Park

    Aquashow Park is a waterpark with a ton of attractions including an impressive Watercoaster (a thrilling rollercoaster that ends with a splash!), Twin Space Shuttle (two dueling slides ideal for racing your pal) and the thrilling free fall slide. If you’re after a slower pace, check out the Jacuzzi, the Tropical Pool and the Lazy River.

    Benagil Cave

    Yes, Albufeira has lots of brilliant boozers and thrilling activities, but it would be a real shame to miss the natural wonder that is the Benagil Cave. The Benagil Caves are unique and beautiful caves that are famous for having a hole in the ceiling. This place is seriously instagrammable, and we highly recommend you don’t miss it. The Benagil Cave Boat Tour is a great way to visit this gorgeous spot.

    Parasailing

    Get a taste of the high life (literally) by doing a spot of Parasailing. There’s nothing quite like soaring high above the sea taking in views of the coast. If you don’t fancy flying solo, there is an option for two or three people to do a flight at the same time. You’ll get approx 10 minutes, which might not sound like a lot, but when you’re up in the air it will feel like more than enough. To the skies!

    Boozy Brunch on the Strip

    Doing a bottomless brunch is not just one for the ladies. In fact, it’s a no brainer. The lads get fed and you get bottomless drinks, all in one price. Doing a Boozy Brunch on the Strip will see you enjoying a three-course brunch with unlimited beer, sex on the beach or sangria for 90 minutes. As this takes place on the strip, after you’ve drained your last drink you can seamlessly keep on partying. What’s not to love?

    The Strip has a surprising amount of karaoke bars. You can get into the Albufeira spirit with . This activity, taking place on The Strip, is a fab way of showing off your great (or not so great) singing voice. You will get access to a soundproof room that has access to thousands of songs, so you can bet your karaoke go-tos are there.

    Quad Biking

    Get out into the fresh air with Quad Biking. This fantastic high adrenaline activity will have you speeding your way over various terrain. Quad biking is an incredible way to enjoy some lovely Portuguese scenery, whilst having a bit of a break from beers. The tour lasts for 90 minutes, which is just the right amount of time to explore.

    Mini Golf

    If you fancy golf without having to do a bunch of walking, then Mini Golf is a great idea. This mini golf course is surrounded by trees, fountains and rock formations, making it a very Zen experience (hungover you will be thankful). Club and ball hire is sorted out for you, so you just need to turn up and give it your best.

    Albufeira Marina

    Albufeira Marina is a great spots for drinks with a view. There are a few bars around here that are well worth your time including Sharky's Bar. Sharky’s has loads of terrace seating where you can enjoy drinks with views of the harbour and also multiple screens which show live sport. There are also several restaurants and shops to be found here.

    A Guided Bar Crawl

    With all the madness that is The Strip, doing a Guided Bar Crawl is a great way of making sure the bars you’re going to are worth your time. Also it’s a lot easier just to follow a set route with a local nightlife expert to ensure you get the most out of your night. Guided Bar Crawl & Nightclub Entry will see you visiting 5-6 bars and makes sure that you’ve got guestlist entry to a nightclub at the end of the night.

    The Algarve is rife with all kinds of different watersports you can do. has got to be one of the more refreshing (and one of our recommended) options. Starting from the gorgeous white sand of São Rafael Beach, you will explore the beautiful Albufeira coastline and caves in kayaks on this tranquil 2-hour tour.
