Go’ed la, get the pints in. Whichever nightlife district you choose to spend your stag do in, you’re guaranteed a good weekend on the Liverpool tiles. If your stag do is a little on the alternative side, head to the Georgian Quarter. Hipster venues such as Fly in the Loaf and The Grapes are ideal for a more intimate, craft beer filled, rum-soaked stag do. Alternatively, the 24-hour party vibe of Concert Square’s classy bars and massive nightclubs is guaranteed to entice your group. This area hosts the likes of the 2,600 capacity Level, the cheap as chips Black Rabbit bar, and the notorious Ink club. You’ve also got Mathew Street and the surrounding areas, housing the world-renowned Cavern Club, The Beatles performed here in their early days, along with many other fantastic bar-come-clubs. For more information on the notorious nightlife zones of Liverpool, see our Stag’s Guide to Liverpool Nightlife.

Horse Racing

The Liverpool races are a fantastic place to get suited and booted, tanked up and splash the cash (potentially making your fortune). Most famously known as the racetrack of the annual Grand National steeplechase, Aintree Racecourse has many race meets throughout the year. Alternatively, Haydock Park is another premium racecourse in Liverpool, with plenty of flat/jump fixtures through the year to keep you and the lads entertained on your stag do. We offer general admission to both racecourses, with your drinks sorted once you’re in.
