Brno is one of our up and coming destinations, and as it’s a little off the beaten track in terms of well-known stag do locations, we can guarantee you some serious bang for your buck when it comes to accommodation. We have a selection of four hand-picked stag-friendly hotels and hostels for you to choose from, so it’s simply down to personal preference as to which will suit your party best.
Four-star Hotel Slavia is ideally located right in the heart of the city, just a few minutes’ walk from the main town square and next to the castle, for those of you who fancy a bit of culture (don’t worry, there are loads of pubs nearby too). In addition to the perfect location, the hotel offers luxurious, spacious and comfortable rooms, and a slap-up breakfast is included to soak up the booze so you can start all over again the next day. What’s even better is you get all this for the price of a budget hotel in the UK – meaning extra koruna to spend on beer (that’s Czech money, don’t you know).
Stay in luxury in BrnoHotel Omega is a favourite with our past customers and it’s easy to see why. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. They’re simple and basic – but at the end of the day, what more do you need than a comfortable bed to crash in and a tasty breakfast the next morning? Situated in Brno’s Old Town, the hotel is just ten minutes’ walk from the main city centre, although you’ll find plenty of drinking holes on your doorstep for a nightcap. Unsurprisingly, it’s also a steal. Did we mention how cheap a Brno stag do is?
Hotel Amphone is cheaper still, and comes with some added benefits. An on-site Thai restaurant, and massage parlour, for easing those post-party aches and pains, might tempt you and the lads, along with some truly unique decor, and a great location in the city’s main tourist area.
No, make it cheaper, we hear you cry. Fine, have Hostel Fleda. Situated in the north of the city near the student area, the hostel is tastefully decorated, spacious and an absolute bargain at around £30 for a private room – or you can bunk up in dorms for even less. We might as well give you a stag do for free.
We have reserved allocation in some of Brno's top hostelsThere are several distinct areas in Brno, from the university district in the north of the city, to the central tourist area, to the old town in the south. Our accommodation is spaced out across the city, but none are more than 15-20 minutes’ walk from the city centre. If that sounds a bit of a stretch after you’ve had a few, fear not – Brno has a robust and reliable public transport system you can use to get around, even at night. But don’t worry – if you can’t figure out the ticket malarkey in the dark with the foreign money, you’ll be able to find a taxi to ferry you back to your hotel for some shut-eye.
Brno is a busy city that sees tourists visiting throughout the year, along with a thriving student population, and its growing popularity as a cheap and cheerful city break might lead you to wonder if you’ll struggle to book on your preferred weekend. Fear not – at LNOF we have a guaranteed room allocation at all of our hotels and hostels, however, Brno’s busiest weekends are those around the Christmas period, when the renowned Christmas Markets are on, so if you know your stag do is due to fall in early December, have a chat with your LNOF sales rep to ensure you don’t miss out.
We understand that it’s a big commitment booking a weekend away for a large group, and parting with that amount of cash can be daunting. Last Night Ltd are a registered travel company and are fully protected by ABTA (Y6354) which guarantees that if any problems arise with your accommodation, you have full legal protection behind you, which should allow you to sleep a little more easily.
