There’s bars, clubs and restaurants just around every corner, and 11-minutes’ walk will get you to the main shopping site with some of the big name brands to spend your hard earned money on. The famous Disco Black Diamond nightclub is only 6-minutes’ away on foot, meaning you and the lads can hit up plenty of bars en-route and make it there while you’re still standing. Nearby is the Hotel Famosa, another prime example of the best mix of everything. Just 10-minutes’ walk from some of the big name clubs we know you’re going to want to hit up, there’s also the Northliche Dussel just 11-minutes’ walk away, where you can marvel at one of the most stunning parks in the city.
If the sound of being right in the heart of the nightlife sounds right up your street, then Hotel Moon is your one-stop-stay for everything fun after dark. The streets around it are lined with places to eat and drink, and the walk to the best clubs is just 22-minutes, giving you plenty of opportunity to sample the local bars on the way. IF you want to live it up this weekend – and why wouldn’t you – the Hotel Am Spichernplatz is definitely going to do it for you. Right next to the Dusseldorf Golzheim district, it’s famous for having one of the best Greek restaurants in Dusseldorf so you can have a much-needed break from all the bratwurst, and has its own spa featuring a steam room, sauna and wave shower. If you’re wanting to go easy on the budget to save your cash for plenty of steins, then the Premiere Classe is one of the city’s best examples of a modern, cheap and chic hotel. There’s plenty of boutique shops surrounding you, with its fair share of bars and cafes thrown in for good measure.
With accommodation all over the city, you shouldn’t need a taxi to enjoy the incredible bars and clubs that the city has to offer, as each district houses its very own brand of nightlife. However, if you want to get around the U-Bahn is the most popular way of travelling around Dusseldorf so you can get a little further afield if you want.
We want your weekend to run as smoothly as possible, which is why we made sure to reserve room allocation on all of our suggested hotels to make sure you don’t miss out on the hotel you’ve set your heart on. The city can fill up pretty quickly during busier times, with hotels booking up quickly during the Christmas Markets, PSI, METAV Trade Fair, and GlassTec. If your chosen weekend falls on one of these it’s best to book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. Don’t worry, though; one of our sales staff will double check every booking to make sure nothing clashes.
