Enjoy a whacky and wonderful Mad Hatter welcome to Newcastle.
We’re afraid you’re entirely bonkers, but we’ll let you into a little secret... all the best people are. Fall head first down the rabbit hole into the magical Mad Hatter’s Tea Room, for a last night of freedom you’ll never forget. This plush, central apartment sleeps six, or up to eight including sofa beds, and has some seriously Instagrammable interiors to its name, which you’ll soon see. You’d be mad to miss it. Luckily for you, these apartments are exclusive to Last Night of Freedom, meaning that you can’t book through anyone else, there’ll be no hidden fees and our HQ is only five minutes away in the unlikely event that anything goes wrong.
Why Alice in Wonderland theme you may ask. Well, what you may not have known is that Lewis Carroll actually wrote sections of Alice Through the Looking Glass in the North East, and is said to have based Alice on Alice Liddell from Ravensworth Castle. So, not only will you have somewhere cool to stay, but you’ll be taking in a bit of local culture whilst you’re at it.
This quirky apartment is located slap-bang in the centre of Newcastle’s most central nightlife district, the Bigg Market. This particular nightlife square is renowned for its carefree attitude and reasonable drinks prices, with lively bars like Cosy Joe's karaoke joint, Bier Keller and the hipster cocktail lounge, Passing Clouds. There’s even a 24-hour Greggs here, if that 3am dirty kebab just won’t cut it. If you’d like to see our top 10 recommended bars in the area, check out our guide to the Bigg Market.
Your host venue is nestled above one of Newcastle’s most famous pubs, The Beehive, this apartment is perfect for any group who want to stay somewhere different from your run of the mill chain hotels and celebrate in style. Apart from being perfectly placed for your night out, you’ll also be well within walking distance of many Newcastle tourist attractions and massive shopping thoroughfares, keeping you lot thoroughly entertained throughout the day, too.
