If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to attend a rave in an igloo? Well, wonder no longer. This is the coolest (get it?) and most unique bar you’ll ever set foot in - where you’ll feel like Eskimos, celebrating to a backdrop of ice, ice and more ice.

The quirky and idiosyncratic arctic atmosphere is like nothing you’ll ever have experienced before. You will be welcomed into Dutch navigator, Willem Barentsz’s world. You will experience the intense feeling of what it would have been like being stranded in the North Pole on his ship, The Mercury, in 1596 - but with lashings of alcohol. Surrounded by 60 tonnes of stunning natural ice – you can sit down, relax and enjoy your night out to remember.

Don’t worry if you haven’t packed for the sub-zero temperature... you’ll have everything you could possibly need to insulate yourselves while partying. This includes huge overcoats and thermos-gloves. You’ll get three drinks included per person, and will drink them from glasses made of ice (of course).

I thought the ice would be more sculpted

It was a fridge ??????? with a limited drinks selection in the ice bar itself, I was expecting more than a fridge that looks like it needs to be defrosted

Xtracold Icebar Amsterdam is quite literally the coolest bar in town. Everything in the bar is made out of ice including the glasses in which the drinks are served in. There's cool Artic-themed decor about the place. You have the actual ice bar and also a front bar where they serve delicious cocktails.
