Overview

Chop to the top

Striking a great balance between safety conscious and fun, the instructors (or ‘axe-perts’ if you will) will give you a safety briefing on the dos and don’ts of axe throwing in this epic venue that has three lanes and the capacity for up to 30 people.

You’ll then learn a variety of throwing techniques that may include throws such as a one-handed throw, a two-handed throw, a few cheeky trick shots and more! The instructors will help you out along the way to find out the best throwing position for you. The axes aren’t the only heavy metal you’ll come across, as you’ll be accompanied by a mint soundtrack.

To find out who will come ‘out on chop’, you’ll be put into groups to take part in the ultimate axe throwing competition where yelling your head off like a Viking and showing flair are encouraged. Axe throwing is ‘great craic’, just remember to wear sensible footwear!
