The Guinness Factory is the biggest tourist attraction in the whole of Dublin – and an absolute must see on your last night of freedom in the Emerald Isle.
The Guinness Storehouse itself is structured in the shape of a humongous pint glass (one that could hold 14.3 million pints, in fact) spanning seven storeys, with the Gravity Bar at the very top, forming the ‘head’ of the pint. Your tour will take you on a fascinating journey through each of the seven floors – through advertising campaigns through the ages, the brewing and fermenting process, Arthur Guinness’ signature on the original lease from 1759 and the all-important Tasting Rooms.
If you’re partial to a drop of ‘the Black Stuff’, you’ll love taking a detour into the Tasting Rooms for a Guinness Connoisseur Experience you’ll never forget. Tasting Rooms are a real sensory experience, where you’ll get your hands on a variety of different draughts and stouts brewed by Guinness – all to a backdrop of surroundings which close off your other senses. You’ll be stout tasting pros once you’re done.
