Edinburgh
Duration: Approx 2 hours
Overview
Footgolf is a whole new hybrid sport, and it’s conquering the globe
This brilliant activity is a mash-up of football and golf, and it’s quickly becoming a must-do in Edinburgh. Footgolf is all about precision. Your goal is to kick the ball into oversized holes on a golf course, with each hole having a par, just like traditional golf. The fewer kicks you take, the better your score.
A dedicated event co-ordinator will guide your two-hour Footgolf session, packed with mini challenges, from back-heel putting to weak-foot tee offs. Expect plenty of laughs and a few cheeky forfeits and unexpected twists, especially if you find yourself in a bunker or splash into a water hazard.
Played on a proper golf course just outside Edinburgh, Footgolf has exploded in popularity. It even has its own UK Footgolf Association. With a trophy for longest drive and closest to the pin, there’s more than just bragging rights up for grabs!
