Get fast and furious on this 950 metre indoor karting track, with a mini grand prix
Get to live out your Monaco dreams at this state of the art karting track in Newcastle. This multi-level track is a whopping 950 metres length circuit. This track has 12 bends, a hair-raising flyover, banked turns, hairpin bends and long straights to navigate .
You and your group will be taking on the challenge in a sprint race. You will be in electric karts on the track with other drivers and will compete in the first, 15 minute session – five minutes of karting and 10 minutes of qualifying. You'll then have a 15-30 minute break to discuss tactics and share lap times before you head back to the track, line up on the grid in qualifying order (fastest at the front and so on) and race it out for a full-on, action-packed 15 minutes. This takes the total drive time per person to 30 minutes. And, as an extra incentive, there'll be a podium presentation and trophies for the top three drivers…
This track is located on Scotswood Road, around 2 miles to the West of the city centre and is approximately 10-15 minutes drive. For anyone wishing to drive there is free parking onsite.

How does it work?
- Travel to the venue - upgrade to private return transfers if needed
- Be sure to arrive 40 minutes before your race time
- Get kitted out with your race suit and safety gear
- Run through a short safety briefing
- Time to race!
- 5 minute practice driving, followed by a 10 minute qualifying drive
- Short break to stretch those legs!
- Each driver will be given their race report with track times, fastest driver and average speeds
- A 15-minute final race, you'll start in order of qualifying speed and race it out to be crowned the Verstappen of your group
- Trophy giving with podium for the top 3 drivers
