When it’s all over and you can’t dance another step, you need a place to rest your head (not to mention somewhere to sit and eat your kebab), so check out our varied range of hotels, apartments and hostels for your Birmingham hen do, and see which option best fits your party’s budget and tastes.
LNOF customers rate Jury’s Inn, as not only does it deliver on cost, it’s also nestled snugly in the beating heart of the Birmingham nightlife scene, situated right on popular bar and club drag Broad Street. So no worries about taxis home, then – you can even stagger back in those killer heels as the hotspots are right on your doorstep.
Another favourite with our previous customers, Holiday Inn Express at Snow Hill is a reasonably priced option which is well placed for public transport, and offers an on-site bar for a couple of cheeky glasses of fizz before you head out for the night. It also boasts a delicious buffet breakfast to settle the stomach the morning after the night before – perfect.
The Aparthotel Adagio, located a short distance outside the city centre in urban regeneration gem, Digbeth, offers comfortable and spacious apartments with all the amenities you need for a bit more independence on your hen weekend. With its own cool location, near trendy shops and bars, it’s a holiday all on its own, with the added bonus that it won’t set you back too much of that lovely moolah.
If you’re trying to cut costs and keep it cheap and cheerful then it doesn’t get much better than Travelodge when it comes to cost and location. The Birmingham Central Travelodge sits just a few hundred yards from the shiny silver leisure and retail palace that is the famous Bull Ring centre, affording you and the girls plenty of opportunity to grab some last minute accessories for your night out, or a bite to eat before you head home.
Or give your bridesmaid even more of the budget to spend on booze by booking in at Hatters Hostel. Situated in the fashionable Jewellery Quarter of the city, this hostel is stylish and popular, with comfortable, reasonably priced private bedrooms available or shared dormitories for a real cost-cutting stay. Plus a fabulous free breakfast is included – bonus.
Birmingham is the UK’s second city, and it’s a sprawling mass of commercial, industrial and residential areas, so whilst you shouldn’t be surprised to find your hotel might be a fair trek to some of your activities, or to the popular night spots, it’s also fair to say the public transport system will serve you well if you’re hoping not to splash too much cash on taxis. If you’re looking to be in a particular area, just give us a shout and we can point you in the right direction. It’s all good though, as there is always somewhere to have a drink in Birmingham, wherever you end up.
Birmingham is a bustling destination and it would be difficult to find a weekend when it wasn’t thriving with life, both local and tourist. But don’t worry – here at LNOF we have reserved room allocations at all our hotels, apartments and hostels, to give you the best possible chance of booking on your preferred dates. It’s worth noting that there dates when Birmingham gets even busier, for example Pride Weekend, and any occasions on which large concerts are held in one of Birmingham’s numerous venues. If you’re concerned about potential clashes, give your LNOF sales rep a call and they can advise you on availability for your chosen weekend.
