With a large range of hotels, apartments and hostels, your stay in Hungary’s capital can be everything you want it to be. For Brides-to-Be on a budget, we recommend staying at Adagio. This highly rated hostel offers two buildings: Adagio 1.0 Oktogon and Adagio 2.0 Basilica. Adagio 1.0 provides a great hospitable service. It’s less than a mile from Heroes Square and one of the largest shopping malls in Hungary, Westend City Centre. Experience the bustling streets of the chic capital first-hand at Adagio 2.0 Basilica; a lot of iconic landmarks and activities are within walking distance, meaning you can explore one of the world’s most beautiful cities in its truest form. A sweet and simple option.
Mango Hotel is a very popular choice amongst hen groups visiting Budapest. With a choice of two different locations, Budapest and Gozsdu Courtyard, your hen do weekend can be truly tailored to your taste. The 3-star accommodation consists of spacious apartments, all of which boast a contemporary style and fully furnished. The Budapest complex ideally positions you near to Dea Square and the State Opera House is only around 500 metres. If you’re looking to get caught up in the nightlife, opt to rent an apartment in Gozsdu Court as bars will be right on your doorstep. Let the lady’s night commence.
Immerse yourself in the extravagant city life by booking Mercure Korona. This impeccable 4-star hotel is nestled in the heart of Budapest; release your inner Rebecca Bloomwood on Vaci Street, take a stroll beside the beautiful River Danube or for a true Hungarian experience mix with the locals in the ruin pubs. Chin Chin. And if that doesn’t sell it to you, this will – not only do the rooms ooze elegance and sophistication, but privilege rooms and suites are also available. Go on, be a queen for the weekend and let us upgrade you.
Another 4-star option is Mercure Museum Budapest. One of the finest in the city, this highly-rated, grandeur hotel is located within the business district. Right in the centre of Budapest, you’ll be a short walk away from the prestigious St Steven’s Basilica and the National Museum. Staying here will leave you Hungary for another visit.
The hotels, hostels and apartments we offer are in great central location to attractions and activities in the city. You can travel across the chic metropolis by foot; ruin pubs, thermal baths, bars and famous landmarks are within walking distance of each other. However, there are also metro stations and trams within the different districts. Ibis Styles Budapest City and Thomas Hotel are situated just outside of the centre of the city, but they are still within walking distance of local attractions and landmarks. Metro and tram lines are also located on neighbouring streets for swift access to such destinations.
We do recommend organising your hen do in Budapest as soon as possible – we don’t want to disrupt plans and unleash bridezilla. Availability will be extremely limited during the Hungarian Grand Prix and Sziget Music Festival weekends, so we would advise booking up especially early if you’re after these dates. A member of our sales team will draw to your attention any social events that could impact your stay.
You are legally protected when you book your hen weekend with us, as we are ABTA protected (Y6354). If you’d like to know more about ABTA and the impact it has on your hen do in Budapest, see here.
