We offer over 25 different types of accommodation in Edinburgh, meaning that we can pretty much guarantee there’ll be something perfect for your group. When selecting our accommodation offering, we take all sorts of factors into account, to ensure that we have the very best range on offer for our customers – some of the main factors include the distance to the city’s tourist attractions, essential amenities and two main nightlife zones (for more on these notorious zones, see our Hen Party Guide to Edinburgh Nightlife). No matter if you’re after luxurious, 4-star, centrally located apartments or hotels for your do, or your ideal spot to stay is somewhere very basic, where you can drop your bags and go, we have just the thing for your group. For the ultimate Scottish experience, our groups favour the seriously plush Macdonald Holyrood Hotel, which has a plush, in-house spa and bar/restaurant area, and overlooks the iconic Arthur’s Seat. Another popular one amongst our hen groups is Mercure Edinburgh Princes Street Hotel, as you can literally roll out of bed and get onto the main shopping thoroughfare in the whole city when staying here.
Why not get yourselves an apartment with a panoramic view?Edinburgh is broken up into two halves - both walkable, FYI - including the Old Town, with its rich historical offering and traditional drinking haunts, and the New Town, full of trendy cocktail bars, clubs and high end shops. The vast majority of our hen do accommodation in Edinburgh is located within the Old or New Town, meaning that you won’t even have to consider taxis. If you want to be slap-bang in the heart of the historical Old Town, with its wealth of museums, souvenir shops and quirky, old-fashioned bars, we recommend the likes of Stay Central Hotel, Hilton Edinburgh Carlton and Grassmarket Hotel, as they’re all within a stone’s throw of the Royal Mile.
For all your kilty pleasuresAs for the New Town, boasting the shopping thoroughfares of George Street, Rose Street and Princes Street, we suggest looking at Travelodge Edinburgh Central Princes Street or Mercure Edinburgh Princes Street Hotel. A little out the hustle and bustle of the city centre, we do have Lochend Apartments, Canon Court and Village Hotel Club Edinburgh, which will take you a maximum of 15 minutes in a taxi to reach the Old Town.
Edinburgh is one of our top hen party locations, giving us the privilege of increased availability and best room rates which we pass on to our customers. If you book with us well enough in advance, we can pretty much guarantee availability. However, on certain dates throughout the Scottish calendar, such as during the Christmas Markets or the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, UK and Scottish Bank Holidays, Pride Weekend, Hogmanay and Edinburgh Marathon, rooms do fill extremely quickly – so book up early to avoid disappointment.
You are 100% covered. Not only do we want our groups to have the best weekend possible in Edinburgh, but we want them to look forward to it without worrying about losing their money, should anything go wrong with their accommodation. We’re ABTA protected, which is fancy jargon for being an accredited travel company with legal protection. For more information about how ABTA affects your Edinburgh hen weekend, see here.
