Accessories
Our top tip for hen night accessories is to find products you can reuse again and again. There are endless amounts of gorgeous décor pieces that you can reuse for your big day or in your new home after the hen do. These saucy and sustainable glass willy straws; balloon frame; and bride eye mask are easily reusable as well as having recyclable packaging. Alternatively, if you do want something that screams hen party, opt for fully recyclable products. Our ‘How well do you know the bride’ cards, photo booth props and hen party bunting are all fully recyclable- product and packaging! Hen night accessories are stereotypically plastic, single use and thrown away after the event. But they don’t have to be, we have loads more guilt-free options in our hen shop.

Carbon Footprint
Reducing your carbon footprint is a fantastic way to be more eco-friendly. Travel, especially flights, are a huge contributor to carbon emissions. If you are able to have your hen do at home, using public transport to get to and from activities you can offset your carbon footprint by up to 57%! You’ll be helping the planet while partying through the night, nothing can beat that feeling. With over 25 UK locations to choose from for your hen do, there is bound to be a city you are close to or live in where we have hundreds of unique and fun activities for you to try. You won’t be missing out, that’s for sure.

Eco-friendly Activities
Speaking of activities, they can be eco-friendly as well. Mobile activities are perfect for larger groups looking to be more eco-conscience. Instead of taking multiple taxis to an external venue, the butler, stylist or instructor would come to you in one vehicle, reducing the potential carbon emissions easily. Other great activities to consider are outdoor and active ones. Old School Sports Day, Silent Disco Adventure and various Water Sports are perfect for a green hen do. You’ll have fun, feel fabulous and be eco-friendly all at once.
Let's Get Physical
Eating Out
There are so many local independent restaurants and cafes to visit on your hen night. Eating somewhere that uses local produce for their food, and is independent, means that the carbon footprint of your meal will be much smaller than if you eat at a chain restaurant that ships ingredients across the country. Not to mention you’ll be supporting small businesses! From afternoon tea to after dinner drinks, it’s not hard to find local establishments that value the environment. Here are examples of independent restaurants, that use local produce, in our top three locations: Liverpool- Pins, Newcastle- SIX, Edinburgh- Le Monde.

Use Green Accommodation
If you do choose to travel to a different city, then choosing a green hotel would be a great option to stay carbon neutral. Malmaison hotels, Roomzzz aparthotels and Motel One hostels all have sustainability policies and pledges. Aparthotels and hen houses are effortlessly eco-friendly too. They mean that instead of staying in separate hotel rooms, increasing waste and resources, the whole group can stay together and do their bit around the house. Staying together will also mean late night chats, whole group pre drinks and everyone will get to know each other better.
