LNOF Celebrate CHUF

As part of our fundraising efforts for CHUF, LNOF dressed down in to our PJs and stayed up way past our bedtimes for the 24-hour Salesathon. There were plenty of events happening throughout the day, including a pop-up nail salon, massage spa and even a solar eclipse (although we didn’t organise that one) and members of staff kindly donated their pocket money for a good cause and a CHUF-themed manicure.

The Children’s Heart Unit at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle offers paediatric cardiology treatment to children living with serious heart conditions, and CHUF (Children’s Heart Unit Fund) is the charity that raises the vital funds needed to support it. The unit isone of only two in the country where care of this nature can be accessed and it provides treatment to children from pre-natal, right through to adulthood.

We are proud to say that we have managed to raise a grand total of £1,500 so far, via Just Giving and staff donations, and are continuing to add to that total through the cunning use of a staff tuck shop. We hope to continue working with such an inspirational charity as CHUF in the future. We’ll keep you posted with future events, but you can donate any time through our Just Giving page
