There’s nothing better than a night out – and LNOF staff jumped at the chance for a night ‘doon the Toon’ as we sampled some of Newcastle’s best activites for stags and hens. First up? A Latin-inspired cocktail workshop at the banging Bigg Market boozer Revolución de Cuba. We were 'Havana’ blast as our two expert bartenders showed us how to mix minty mojitos fit for Hemingway himself.

This 90 minute masterclass is packed with fast-paced games and a plenty of booze – we are talking shots and cocktails that left Team LNOF ‘shaking’ at the knees and ‘muddling’ their words, as we finished off the fun with a fiery toast that was packed with some real Latino heat!
Really getting into a competitive spirit
Next stop was the wonderful WonderBar, one of the newest additions to The Gate. This darts bar really is 'double top' with tons of hi-tech boards for you and your mates to play a huge range of games on. Fancy a double or treble? There's tons of spirits although we got buckets of ice cold beer to share as well took turns at the oche trying out the likes of Killer, Blockbuster and Shanghai.

If you think darts is for old blokes in social clubs, then think again. That may have been the case once, but the WonderBar has turned it into a 'top flight' group activity that our staff absolutely loved - even those that had never thrown an arrow in their lives. The games are fun and easy, and several don't really depend on skill, making the games far closer than you'd think. There was universal agreement among Team LNOF that this was the perfect way to spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon - and you'd score a Bullseye with your group if you booked it.

Finally it was time for some steins on the Tyne as we ended the night with a trip inside the Bigg Market's best Bavarian beerhall. The Bierkeller is a subterranean party mecca, and within ten minutes of ordering our first bevvie the staff were dancing on the tables (trust us, they don't get to do this in the office). Even the gaffer was up there at one point. There's a reason this frequently ranks among our most popular stag activities - on a weekend, this place is absolutely on fire - and it was a perfect way to say Auf Wiedersehen, Pet to another cracking night out in the stag party captial of Europe.
