We know the best places in the world for hen weekends, we have the experience to back that up too (22 years already?!). Every year our top 10 hen locations changes. This year were seeing much more UK destinations in our top 10 than other years (you can blame that on Covid 19). Though, our abroad options are still great too, and no need to stress, if more restrictions are put in place, due to our Covid Promise, we've got you covered.

1.

Liverpool

The beautiful city of Liverpool has finally pushed itself to the top of our list after featuring year after year. Our Hens can’t get enough of this wonderful city with its abundance of bars and famous nightlife areas. This city may be big, but it is really easy to get around, walk down Mathew Street or take a train underground to Cavern Quarter. Hens have a great time with the scousers, with the old bank cocktail class and water wipe out, along with over 100 other activities. Liverpool is the perfect hen night destination. Newcastle

Our hometown hasn’t moved on this list since last year, but second place ain’t bad at all. Newcastle is, of course, famous for it’s nightlife but it also has hundreds of activities to choose from, take a cocktail class or get active with it’s a knockout. There’s something for everyone in this tightknit city. Have a bar crawl on the quayside or follow in Geordie shore footsteps and find a club to dance in on the diamond strip. Anywhere you go there’s a party in the toon, no wonder Newcastle has been recognised for the best nightlife in the UK. Brighton

This seaside haven has made its way up to the top 3. Brighton has many exciting activities including the British airways i360 flight and spice girls dance class. There are also relaxing ones if you’d prefer or just chill out on the beach in between activities to get your well-deserved down time. Being by the sea, Brighton is perfect for water sports including paddle boarding or check out the pier and take some Instagram pics. After a night of cocktails, crash in a beautiful hotel. Imagine waking up by the sea in the Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel with your girls, you may have a hangover, but the views will make you soon forget about that. If you’re looking for something different in a beach-based city, Brighton is your place.

York

A new addition to our top 10 this year. This charming city hasn’t been on our list since 2002. But we believe it deserves to be here this year with its beautiful cityscape and old-worldly charm. York has over 100 activities from party cruises to the Lady Betty afternoon tea. There’s something for every hen and her girls. Don’t be put off by its ye olde English appearance, York has a lot of modern and fun things to offer. With thousands of shops, a wide range of activities and so many culture spots, York has it all. Stay in the beautiful Wheatlands Lodge Hotel and indulge yourself in this quintessential English city that’s good for culture, shopping and day drinking, everything you need for a perfect hen weekend.

Manchester

Manchester has moved up a few places since last year. We think that’s due to the great range of nightlife areas each with different genres, so there’s a place for everyone to party. This central city is really easy to get to as well, it has 3 main train stations and the third largest airport in the UK, you won’t have any trouble getting to your hen do location. If you’re wanting to have a fun, party filled hen do that’s easy to get to then Manchester is your place to go. There are also amazing activities like dive bar and grill, nude life drawing and many more to get involved with. Get yourself to Manchester, stay in a luxury hotel and have a weekend you’ll never forget. We think you’d love your hen weekend in the city of Mad-chester!

Belfast

Belfast'sBelfast’s major music scene and thriving culture is probably what’s made this friendly city jump on to our top 10. Go overseas without actually going abroad, Belfast is the city for those who want something different without leaving the comfort of the UK. Get acquainted with the Irish culture and lay out of the city with a Pedi bus or make some cocktails at Alibi to get the party started. If you want to have a boozy time, we have a lot of alcohol related activities to choose from. There are also loads of fun activities activities to do in between your bar crawls . Game of thrones was filmed here so you’re sure to have a wild time. There’s everything to love about this culture filled city, making it a good place to take the hens for the weekend.

London

This iconic city has loads of Insta-worthy landmarks, like the London Eye and Big Ben. London has hundreds of hen friendly activities , one for every type of hen. Whether they’re an adrenaline junky or want to keep it chill, we have something for everyone. Being the UK’s capital there is a huge amount of variety and culture to get stuck in with. If your hen is into partying take her to show off her dance moves on the Thames with a party cruise or have a go at the mini cooper challenge if she’s wanting a day of motorised fun. London also has various unique nightlife areas, so you can dance the night away to different music scenes each night. Once you’re all partied out get back and relax at one of the hotels we have to offer. With all this and more, London could be your dream hen destination.

Edinburgh

Hens have been loving the beautiful Scottish capital. With it’s range of culture as well as all the party vibes, Edinburgh Edinburgh is a perfect destination for a hen weekend. This city is full of pedestrianised streets, so you can walk around a range of shops or pop into bars , while looking at the gorgeous views of the city. Edinburgh has rural areas weaved into it’s urban setting, so it is a sight to behold. Its not hard to miss the castle if you look up. Stay in accommodation fit for royalty. Bournemouth

This sleek, seaside city is a great way to staycation for a hen weekend. The weather makes you feel like you’re abroad in the summer, especially when you’re on the beach. Everyone loves sunny days, and not having to worry about abroad Covid restrictions will mean it’s easier to relax on a beach chair. Don’t spend all your time by the sea though, why not take a Pedi bus for a ride or have a cocktail class. Bournemouth has a fantastic mix of activities to have a go at in between your seaside antics. In the evenings why not give Bournemouth’s amazing nightlife a go, and party the weekend away. If the public clubs aren’t your style, you can get your own outdoor party space with a hot tub. This beach city really does feel like you’re taking the hens abroad.

10.

Dublin

Dublin has been in our top ten for 9 years, it’s definitely popular for a boozy weekend. Famous for the Temple bar, it is always a firm favourite for hen dos. Visit the temple bar itself or give the many other bars and clubs a go. The Pedi bus is a great way to get the lay of the land for your bar crawls later while getting a few pre-drinks in beforehand. Have more than a few drinks while in Dublin, after all, when in Rome! But Ireland isn’t all about drinking, why not get in a different Irish spirit with an Irish dancing experience. This is a definite favourite with hen groups, as it’s a great way to get to know everyone and learn new dance moves for the club in the evening.
